Our Marble, Granite, Quartz Process

Stone is truly a piece of natural art, and following this extensive process ensures that your finished product is a beautiful focal point of your project. Mixing experience, technology, tools and artistry is key to a stunning end result.

Marble, Granite, Quartz Stone Fabrication

It is remarkable just how much occurs during this process and how important it is to get the most from your countertop for years to come.

This fabrication process is done by a stone fabricator, which is a very specialized person. In some cases the granite supplier also specializes in stone fabrication and everything can be done at their shop prior to being delivered to your home. The convenience of one-stop shopping can lead to having more control over the entire process.

On this page, we will explore the steps between slab selection and countertop installation, otherwise known as the fabrication process.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent experience dealing with these guys. Rodrigo coordinated everything including addressing countless emails from me while I figured out what it was I wanted. Always professional and no games. I purchased 2 quartz slabs and had them installed in my kitchen 1 week after templating was completed. The guy that did the templating was respectful and thoroughly explained everything. The installers were the same and were precise as not to make mistakes or cause any damage. Great company and I wouldn't hesitate to go with them again.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It is with great pleasure that my wife and I write a review of Jose Pozo's customer service as a sales representative at Architectural Stone in Rockville, Maryland. Jose rendered his excellent taste and opinion as we endeavored to pick out two different stone facades for both sides of our two-way gas fireplace conversion. Our short project wound up taking almost a year – extended by excessive fireplace supply delays, weather issues, and Contractor staff accidents – none of them the fault of Architectural Stone. He continued to hold the stone we chose through the interminable delays. Jose's patience, guidance, and interest in our project never wavered.
From the beginning Jose was talented, prompt, and exceedingly kind when time after time our project backed up. He made a very difficult year much easier. We cannot recommend Jose Pozo enough and we've told our friends about his service. He is the best.
We must also say that we are completely thrilled with the stone and installation - we love it, it's beautiful. Kudos to Architectural Stone. Whenever we are looking for stone there is only one place we will go.

As a kitchen and bath contractor, I can’t tell you how important a vendor is to our business. Architecture Stones is more than a vendor for all of kitchen countertop and bathroom vanity needs. We consider them a true partner. After some serious mistakes which cost us time and money with our last fabricator we made the switch and haven’t looked back. Turn around times best we’ve seen. Selection like no other. Our sales rep is great. Give them a shout you won’t be disappointed.

The Countertops Contractors Ranking team is proud to recognize Architecture Stones - Veria Marble, Granite & Quartz Countertops as one of the leading companies in the United States in the 2024–2025 national ranking of stone countertop fabricators and installers.
According to our evaluation, the company earned the #2 spot in Washington, D.C.
During our mystery shopper research, Architecture Stones was highlighted for excellent customer service and professional consultations. We observed that turnaround times for preparing project estimates are somewhat longer than average, but the company makes up for this with a thorough and attentive approach to customer needs. With a broad offering of granite, quartz, and marble, and its own showroom and fabrication facilities, the company ensures consistent quality control from start to finish.
On pricing, we rate Architecture Stones as Low compared to other top-performing companies in the region. The company requires a standard 50% upfront payment and generally completes fabrication in about 10 days, which is considered a very fast turnaround in the industry.
Overall, in the opinion of the Countertops Contractors Ranking team, Architecture Stones - Veria Marble, Granite & Quartz Countertops is a reliable and transparent choice for homeowners in Washington, D.C., who are looking for quality stone countertop fabrication and installation services.
Sincerely,
The Countertops Contractors Team

What an amazing team! This crew is a phenomenal example of customer service and user focused design. I was able to walk through the shop to visualize and select my products - as well as receive a 3D rendering of my kitchen design. The work was done quickly and efficiently and they were sure to follow up after. See attached photos for my brand new cabinets!
